To formulate greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets and strategies, the company plans to complete the inventory of the head office and six main production sites by 2025. Therefore, the base year for the reduction target is planned to be 2025.
To this end, JPC has gradually conducted individual GHG inventories for the parent company since 2023. A short-term target was reported to and approved by the Board of Directors via the Sustainability Committee on December 13, 2024, to reduce energy indirect GHG emissions (Scope 2) by 5% in 2030 compared to 2025.
In the future, in response to GHG-related regulations and the international carbon pricing trend, JPC will dynamically adjust its operational strategy to align with the relevant carbon reduction management schedule, actively reducing the impact of carbon emissions and enhancing competitive operational advantages.
